A Love Story for the Ages
Some friendships are just meant to be… and some friendships turn into crushes at exactly the perfect time. That was us, around 15 years old. We were friends first, always laughing, teasing, and sharing moments we didn’t even realize were special, until one day it just hit us: “Oh… we’re kind of into each other.” We’d wait for each other’s texts after school, steal moments to talk, and in Rahul’s case, sometimes leave an entire party just to be on the phone with Saumya. Bursts of energy, random dance sessions, and impromptu singing were met with unwavering patience, and a lot of laughter. And now, here we are, best friends and lifelong partners in crime, ready to get married and still enjoying every moment together…

They take part in traditional Hindu rituals, including sacred vows around the holy fire (agni), the exchange of garlands, and prayers for a lifetime of partnership and happiness.
