Our Wedding Theme
Both being a bit nerdy, we fell in love with a Star Wars theme for our big day! Be prepared for a whimsical day in the woodlands enjoying the natural beauty of the forest and meadows, while having great brunch food and entertainment.

Casual Attire: Anything goes, from sundresses and sandals to jeans and tees.
Check-in for the cabins starts at 3 pm. Anyone staying in Cabins at Smith Creek Village or in Silver Falls State Park Campground is welcome to join us for introductions, games, food, and exploring the area.

Garden Party Attire: For our feminine guests, this usually looks like sundresses, jumpsuits, floral prints, summer colors, lighter fabrics, fun hats or hair pieces, etc. For our masculine guests, this usually looks like lighter suits, jackets or vests, breathable button-down shirts, khakis, slacks, etc. We encourage whimsical outfits!
Join us for an outdoor ceremony in the Ceremony Meadows at 11 AM, with a brunch reception in the McKenzie Meadows immediately following.

The Big Leaf Market & Grill in Silver Falls State Park
There is a cafe in Smith Creek Village where you can get your coffee fix, grab a few snacks, and even find a cute souvenir. The restaurant will be open come wedding time, and will have meal options available outside of our hosted events.

When should I RSVP by?
Answer
Please RSVP by no later than June 20, 2026. You can RSVP on this website under the "Sara and Steven's Wedding" event. You can also mail back the RSVP card provided in your invitation.

Does your wedding have a theme?
Answer
We have a Star Wars wedding theme, specifically a Celebration in Ewok Village. You're welcome to make a nod to our theme in your outfit! We will also have an after party, where you can wear Star Wars costumes if you wish.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
There is a Garden Party dress code for the Ceremony and Reception. What does "Garden Party" mean? For our feminine guests, this usually looks like sundresses, jumpsuits, floral prints, fun summer colors, lighter fabrics, etc. For our masculine guests, this usually looks like lighter suits, jackets or vests, breathable button-down shirts, khakis, slacks, etc. We encourage whimsical outfits! Please be mindful of your shoe choices, because both events will take place on grass.

Yes! We want our people fed. Please indicate on your RSVP any special food accommodations. If you forget to tell us on the RSVP, please email us before June 20, 2026 at sarastevewedding2026@gmail.com.

Yes! We want to celebrate with as many of our family and friends as possible. For our younger guests, we will have a kids activity table at the reception.

All invited guests are listed on your invitation. If you would like a plus one, or if you feel that we have neglected someone special, please email us before June 20, 2026 at sarastevenwedding2026@gmail.com to seek approval to include them.

Is there parking at the venue?

Yes! Silver Falls State Park will provide us parking passes for your cars during our event. Please tell the park staff when entering Silver Falls State Park that you are here for the "Sara and Steven Wedding". Follow the signs that direct to the wedding, and park in the main lot on the left just before entering Smith Creek Village.
