We met in January 2023 in Guanajuato, Mexico, Sara’s hometown. At the time, Julian was visiting his aunt, uncle, and cousin who had recently moved there. We connected right away and quickly realized there was something special there. Our first date was at Café Tal, a small café in the city that will always be part of our story. Julian soon returned to Seattle, but we stayed in touch through messages that eventually turned into long video calls. A few months later, we reunited in Mexico City, and the rest is history.
Bride
Sarahi grew up in Guanajuato, México, surrounded by color, creativity, and close family ties. She is creative, thoughtful, and happiest when she’s making something with her hands. Sara loves time with a good cup of coffee, and following wherever her heart leads.
Groom
Julian is a dedicated musician, luthier, friend, son, brother and partner. He is very passionate for his crafts and people in his world. He is, however, very technologically un-savvy. He loves nature and the nature of the Pacific Northwest which he’s called home for the past 6 years.
Officiant
We’re honored to have Julian’s brother officiating our ceremony. Having someone so close to us lead this moment makes it even more meaningful. He’ll be traveling from New Jersey to be part of this special day, and we’re grateful he’ll be the one guiding us as we begin this new chapter together.
Casual Chic, think light, comfortable, and colorful outfits. Feel free to embrace spring florals, sundresses, or smart casual attire.
