***Please RSVP for ceremony and/or reception by August 25th!*** We will be getting married at the Franklin Creek Grist Mill, directly across the gravel road from the Franklin Creek Equestrian Campground. Wedding dress code is not strict and we will be mostly on grass. Be as dressy or as casual as you’d like. The outdoor ceremony will start at 2:00 pm at the Grist Mill. The reception will start at 5:00 pm. The Mill will be open all afternoon! Dinner will be casual buffet style from Lil’ Smoked BBQ in Dixon. This entire event is BYOB. Don’t be shy, bring a cooler with you! If you are planning to camp with us please note that campsites are first come first serve, no reservations. The campground is primitive camping (no electric, generators allowed, high line posts, dump station) and has pit toilets only, so plan accordingly. For those who would prefer a hotel room we recommend either the Quality Inn or brand new Hilton in Dixon, IL.
