We’re getting married!

This is the place you’ll find all the details about our wedding in Crete, from travel and transport to timings and food... your e-invite!
We’ll update this page as things fall into place, so it’s worth checking back occasionally.
🩴Dress Code (or lack of!)
There is no dress code! Be smart, casual, floaty. comfy, or colorful.. Please keep the heat and uneven ground in mind... heels, optional, happy feet - encouraged.

We’ve got an amazing photographer capturing the day for us, so we kindly ask that guests don’t take photos during the ceremony and hold off on sharing anything on social media.

Flights and Accommodation
Crete is easy to reach, with regular flights from Newcastle, Manchester and Edinburgh.
The closest airports are:
• Chania (CHQ)
• Heraklion (HER)
Both airports are around 60–90 minutes from Rethymnon.
**Accommodation:**
Rethymnon is the closest main town to the venue and has a lovely old town, beaches, restaurants and plenty of places to stay, so it could be a great base for the wedding.
Adelianos Kampos is also very close to the venue and is another great area to stay, with lots of hotels and beachfront accommodation options.
That said, please do whatever works best for you, staying a little further out might suit you better depending on budgets, availability or the kind of holiday you’re planning.
We’ll be staying at Zeus Hotels Ydoria in Adelianos Kampos and would absolutely love for anyone who wants to stay nearby to join us there... but please don’t feel any pressure at all and just book whatever works best for you.

Transport
We’re hoping to provide transport to and from Agreco Farm from a central location in Rethymnon, depending on how many guests decide to stay nearby.
If you’re staying in or around Rethymnon and would like to use this, you’ll be able to select this option when you RSVP, this just helps us arrange the right amount of transport for everyone.
If you’re staying elsewhere, you’re very welcome to make your own way to the venue, we’d just ask that you arrive on time at 3:00pm for the late-afternoon ceremony.
The venue is around 15 minutes from Rethymnon, and pickup locations and timings will be shared here closer to the date.
On the day
A rough guide to the day (times and order may shift slightly):
From 3:00pm – Guests arrive at Agreco Farm 🚌
Around 4:00pm – Wedding ceremony 🔔
After the ceremony – Drinks, mingling & enjoying the setting 🍷
Early evening – Dinner is served 🍽
Later in the evening – Cake cutting & first dance 🍰
From around 9:00pm – Cocktail Hour - Party time 💃
Around midnight – Celebrations come to an end 🕛
Transport provided back to Rethymnon 🚌
Food
A traditional Cretan dinner, served family-style at the tables. Relaxed, communal, and full of local flavour. Much of the food comes from the farm or is produced on-site.
There will be one English-style meal available for children, and drinks will be available throughout the day and evening.
Please let us know any dietary requirements or allergies when you RSVP, so everyone can be looked after.

Please let us know if you can join us no later than 1st February 2027, once you've had a chance to check flights, accommodation and holiday plans.

We know that travelling for a wedding is a big ask, and we completely understand that not everyone will be able to make it.
Please don’t feel any pressure — we’ll celebrate with you in spirit if you can’t join us, and we’re just grateful for all the love and support.
