How We MetHow We Met

Isaiah 60:22

HER POV: Our story began when we were just teenagers at church. I instantly noticed Kingsley, and though we clicked right away, I was far too young to think about love. Still, Kingsley never forgot about me. He’d find little ways to check in over the years. Life carried us in different directions, but the Lord was weaving our story together in His perfect timing. Many years later, God orchestrated the perfect moment for us to reconnect, at a wedding. Kingsley came over to chat, and though we went our separate ways that night, I woke up the next morning feeling compelled to message him. From that moment, the rest truly became history. From then on, our love story blossomed, and every step has been a blessing. I thank the Lord for bringing us together in His perfect timing. HIS POV: Our journey started long before I understood what love really meant. We were teenagers at church, and the first time I ever saw Sarah was in the church gym. Even then, she stood out to me in a way I couldn’t explain. As time passed, life unfolded and our paths moved in different directions, but she never truly left my thoughts. She would come to mind often, and I remember telling my friends without any hesitation that she was the woman I was going to marry. Somehow, I just knew. Though we lived separate chapters for years, God was working behind the scenes the entire time. What felt like distance was really preparation. Then, in a moment only God could arrange, we reconnected at a wedding. From the very first conversation that night, everything felt natural just like no time had passed at all. Our first date confirmed what I had always believed. We talked endlessly, making up for years we’d missed, and still didn’t want the night to end. It felt like we never skipped a beat, yet there was an excitement in knowing our story was just beginning.
