We are having a casual Welcome Dinner on Wednesday evening at 5:30 PM at Lakeside Drift in Saranac Lake, about a 15-minute drive from Lake Placid. This will be a relaxed, optional gathering, and guests can order whatever they’d like. All wedding events on Thursday, July 23 will take place at Smoke Signals in Lake Placid. Please arrive by 3:45 PM to be seated before our 4:00 PM ceremony. Guests may access the ceremony space on the lawn via the driveway between Smoke Signals and NBT Bank. After the ceremony, join us for cocktail hour and appetizers on the deck, followed by dinner in the Lakeview Room. We’d love for you to stay awhile. After dinner, we’ll head back out to the deck to celebrate by the lake. Evenings in the Adirondacks can get chilly, so we recommend bringing a light jacket or wrap.

Cocktail Attire Women: midi or full-length dresses, dressy jumpsuits, or elevated separates Men: suits or dress shirts with dress pants (jackets and ties optional) Our ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors overlooking the lake. While July is typically warm during the day, evenings in the Adirondacks can get cool. Feel free to bring a light jacket or wrap.

Travel

July is a busy time in the Adirondacks, so we recommend booking accommodations sooner rather than later. Where to Stay We will be staying at Whiteface Lodge in Lake Placid. There are plenty of other hotels, inns, and Airbnb options nearby. We recommend staying in Lake Placid, but Wilmington and Saranac Lake are also wonderful nearby towns with easy access to all wedding events.
