We met each other in middle school. Doug was a grade above me and one of my older brother's best friends all the way through school. We always had a crush on each other, but neither one of us knew it...well, I knew Doug liked me because, you know, girls know that kind of stuff :) Doug says he was always too shy to ask me out. We went our separate ways in college, but Doug and my brother remained friends. I would see Doug occasionally throughout the years. Then...two and a half years ago he FINALLY found the courage to ask me out on a date...but...my brother refused to give Doug my phone number :)- Being the smart man he is he tracked me down on Instagram and, as the saying goes, "slid into my DM's." Two days later we went on our first date, and we both knew that night this was going to be a permanent thing!
