Travel Details

Whether you're flying in, driving, or taking a ferry, we’ve put together some travel tips to help make your trip to Poulsbo as smooth as possible! From Seattle: Take the Seattle–Bainbridge Ferry (about 35 minutes) from downtown Seattle to Bainbridge Island. You can either drive onto the ferry with your vehicle or walk on if you prefer not to have a car. Once you arrive on Bainbridge Island, it’s a 30-minute drive to Poulsbo. Ferries run regularly, but it’s a good idea to check schedules in advance at WSF Ferry Schedule. From Sea-Tac Airport (SEA): Ferry Route: Take the Light Rail or an Uber/Lyft to the downtown Seattle ferry terminal. From there, take the Bainbridge Ferry to Bainbridge Island, and drive 30 minutes to Poulsbo. Driving Route: Rent a car at Sea-Tac and drive 90 minutes via the Tacoma Narrows Bridge, which avoids ferry wait times but is a longer drive. Both options provide scenic views of the Puget Sound—perfect for starting your journey!
