Our Story
It's the early pandemic days, and I receive a DM from someone asking, "Have we met before?" Of course, I engage and reply, "Maybe." We didn't know each other, but as we kept talking, it felt as if we were old friends, keeping each other company as the quarantine days dragged on. I didn't think much would come of it because he was a Hamptons boy and I was a City girl. Two months later, Kevin asked me out on a picnic date at the Long Island City piers. I showed up in a black polka dot dress, my location shared with friends (because you never know), feeling both anxious and excited to meet this outdoorsy man from East Hampton. We had tacos and margs on the waterfront and talked until the rain started. Just before we left the park, Kevin asked, "Do you want to go get burgers? I know a spot..." Music to my ears, I thought, since I looove food. So, we went for burgers, and it was perfect. From that night on, we kept finding new spots to eat and laugh together. Every meal became a fun little adventure, and it's been as sweet as that night ever since.

Our wedding day will be on a Saturday. Pereira is a beautiful destination so feel free to plan extra time for sightseeing.
