Stephen and Sara first met in August 2020 by the pool at the Marriott in Virginia Beach. Stephen was visiting for the first time with his brother, Nicholas, while Sara was enjoying a summer day with her friend, Haley. When her phone suddenly broke, Stephen stepped in to help, sparking a conversation that led to an entire day of poolside drinks, laughter, and an unexpected weekend together. Just two weeks later, they took a spontaneous trip to Miami, spending a memorable week at the Fontainebleau—a place that remains one of their favorite destinations. For the next year, they made long-distance work, with Stephen in Maryland and Sara in Virginia, before finally moving in together in the Lower East Side of Manhattan right above Katz’s Deli, where they quickly became regulars. Then, in the most magical way, Stephen proposed by renting out the Bryant Park ice skating rink for a private moment under the city lights. After Sara said yes, they celebrated with an unforgettable dinner at the chef’s table at MASA, one of their favorite sushi restaurants in New York. In November 2024, they officially tied the knot in an intimate courthouse ceremony with just their parents by their side. Now, they are excited to celebrate their marriage with family and friends at their wedding celebration dinner!
