Our story began in high school, where we first saw each other during a school break. We didn’t know it then, but that simple moment would become the start of something special. A few days later, we saw each other again at a fellowship gathering, and after a little courage and a simple gesture of sharing some popcorn, our first conversation began. Later that day, we connected on social media and started talking. What began as a simple exchange quickly turned into conversations we both looked forward to every day. The more we got to know each other, the more our friendship grew. It was finals season when we met at the public library one Saturday. Looking back, we now laugh and call it our first date. While we were supposed to be studying for our exams, we found ourselves enjoying each other’s company just as much as the books in front of us. From friends, to best friends, to boyfriend and girlfriend, to fiancé and fiancée, every chapter brought us closer together. Through countless conversations, prayers, laughter, and unforgettable memories, God was writing a story far greater than either of us could have imagined. Today, as we prepare to begin our next chapter as husband and wife, we are grateful for every step that brought us here. What started with a simple meeting in high school has become a lifetime of love, friendship, and partnership.
