Ceremony & Reception

5:00 pm

Entrada At Snow Canyon Country Club
2537 Entrada Trail, St. George, UT 84770

Our wedding will be 'desert formal'. Our celebration is outdoors on both grass and pavement, so choose sturdy shoes. Early March in St. George averages highs near 70°F and cool evenings in the 40-50s. Layers are recommended. Formal attire: long dresses for women, suits for men. Think elegant and desert-chic.

Following the ceremony, kindly join us for a reception celebration of dinner and dessert, followed by dancing beneath the stars.

Travel

We’re so excited to welcome you to our home in beautiful St. George, Utah! We know travel takes planning, so we’ve gathered our best tips to make your trip easy and stress-free. Our goal is to ensure travel isn’t a burden or barrier, just the first step toward celebrating with us on our wedding day!

Flight

Harry Reid International Airport (LAS)

We recommend flying into Las Vegas (LAS) for the smoothest travel experience. It’s about a 2-hour drive (without traffic) from St. George and offers more flights, better fares, car rentals, shuttles, and rideshares. St. George Regional (SGU) is closer, but lovingly known for the “SGU curse” of delays and limited flights. Note: LAS is in Pacific Time, so add one hour to your arrival time.

Flight

St. George Regional Airport

Just minutes from the venue, SGU is the most convenient choice for proximity. However, flights can be pricier and often subject to layovers, delays, or cancellations. An option for those who want to prioritize convenience over flexibility, though a bit risky if cutting it close to wedding day.

Travel Note

LAS vs. SGU?

Las Vegas = more reliable and flexible; St. George = closer but riskier.

Travel Note

St. George Shuttle

A popular and reliable option with multiple daily departures directly from Las Vegas Airport to St. George. Comfortable vans, reasonable fares, and easy online booking make it a guest favorite.

Travel Note

Salt Lake Express

Frequent shuttle service with a convenient airport pickup zone. Affordable fares and a quick, direct route, ideal for travelers looking for a simple, no-fuss option to get to St. George.

Travel Note

Airbnb & VRBO

We recommend checking out Airbnb or Vrbo for our St. George wedding weekend! Rentals in our area are often more affordable than hotels, especially when shared with friends or family, and offer extra space to relax and enjoy time together. Many homes are just minutes from the venue, making it easy to coordinate rides and attend every event. With kitchens, living areas, and plenty of room for group stays, it’s a comfortable, budget-friendly way to make the most of the weekend.

Wedding Party

These are just some of the amazing, special people who’ve cheered us on, made us laugh, and kept us grounded through it all. We’re so lucky to have them by our side as we say “I do,” and the wedding wouldn’t be the same without their love, support, and shenanigans!

Elliott Majka

Best Man / Groom’s Brother

We are so proud of Elliott, the groom’s brother, who serves as an Army officer. While military training may prevent him from joining us in person, we honor his dedication, sacrifices, and service to our country. His love and support mean the world to us, and we carry him in our hearts on this special day.

Luke Hill

Best Man

Luke has been my best friend since day one of college. He is my go-to adventure buddy and trusted ally who makes me laugh without having to say a word. From stand-up comedy marathons to late-night debates, cake shakes, and inside jokes, he’s been there through it all — the kind of friend you don’t find twice.

Amanda Goreel

Maid of Honor

Mandy, my best friend since first grade and truly a sister to me. Lovingly called my hard drive because she remembers things about me I’ve long forgotten, she has a way of making the past feel alive and the present feel brighter. A partner in belly laughs, in late-night talks, and in every life milestone, Mandy has been a steady, joyful presence through it all. Her friendship is one of those rare, irreplaceable constants that makes life sweeter just by having her in it.

Carter Macfarlane

Groomsman

Affectionately known as PC for Pastor Carter, he’s a wise sage and front-porch whiskey warrior. A true friend through post-grad years, he’s been there for sandbar camping adventures or quiet movie nights. Always a real one!

Caroline McCormack

Bridesmaid

My sweet Caroline, my cubicle neighbor turned confidant and dear friend. What started with quick chats across our desks turned into a friendship built on laughter, honesty, and countless shared moments. She’s the one who kept my desk stocked with my favorite candy and my spirits lifted through long days. Steadfast, kind, and full of heart, Caroline’s friendship has truly stood the test of time.

Austin Clark

Groomsman

Not only is he Rys’ brother, Austin is a golfer, urban style trendsetter, and world traveler. Always up for an adventure or a friendly challenge, he brings style, laughs, and energy wherever he goes.

Alice White

Bridesmaid

One of my dearest friends since our days as cubicle mates in 2022, Alice has been a steady presence through every season. She’s the kind of friend who finds laughter in the ordinary and beauty in the chaos, always up for a good joke, a deep chat, or a little bit of life’s silliness.

Ben Jackson

Groomsman

Ben and I were roommates for a couple of years and fellow pre-med (now DO Med) students. He’s sharp, fearless, and always ready to top my antics, somehow never saying no to a ridiculous idea.

Aileen Joseph

Bridesmaid

Aileen is the friend who once whisked me away to a Beyoncé concert in the middle of law school finals, proving she knows exactly when to hit pause and have fun. She’s the one you can tell anything over a good meal, and she’s always reminding me to treat myself. A true joy of a human.

Stephen McKay

Groomsman

Stephen has been a close friend since day one of college, through discipleship group and countless trips to the free zoo in Madison, WI. A voice of reason and unwavering support, he’ll walk with me through almost any situation.

Jo Kim

Bridesmaid

Jo and I met at Northwestern in 2020, and found connection in a world that felt so far apart. When I lived in Chicago, we had quarterly spa days and always picked up right where we left off. Jo has a calm, steady energy and a way of showing up that means so much. She’s been there through some of my toughest moments and continues to be one of the most loyal and grounding friends I could ask for.

Nathan Sanchez

Groomsman

Nathan is a close friend and longtime roommate with the most contagious laugh. Multimedia aficionado and ultimate binge-watch partner, he’s been there for countless adventures and laughs along the way.

Leah Sternberg

Bridesmaid

Leah, my college friend and the best dancer I know. Sunshine personified, she radiates warmth and light wherever she goes. With her, there’s no judgment — only honesty, safety, and a space where you can share anything and feel understood.

Logan Skalka

Groomsman

Logan started as my med school peer mentor and has become a truly dependable and thoughtful friend. Aspiring dermatologist and all-around go-to guy, he’s the one who’ll give great advice and probably remind you to wear sunscreen while doing it.

Liberty Miller

Bridesmaid

Liberty, a poet, artist, and law school friend who truly gets me and has been a steady source of support. Creative through and through, she uses her crafting skills to make others smile and brings beauty, warmth, and joy to everything she does.

Dr. Michael Johnson

Pastor

Pastor Michael, our officiant, pastor, and cherished friend, and his wife Sarah have opened their hearts and home to us, guiding us with love, wisdom, and unwavering support throughout our relationship. Their five kids, who we lovingly call “the fab 5,” have become our cherished nieces and nephews, full of energy, laughter, and fun. From trampoline games to everyday moments of joy and connection, their family has truly become an extended home and a source of love and warmth that we treasure deeply.

FAQs

The Wedding Website of Samuel Duane Majka and Karyssa Yvonne Clark
We know traveling for a wedding can raise a lot of questions, so we’ve put together this page to help you plan your trip and enjoy the celebration. We’ll continue to update it with more details as things come up, so you can always find the answers you need!
Question

When is the wedding?

Answer

Our wedding celebration will take place on March 7th, 2026 with the Ceremony beginning at 5 p.m. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code is ‘desert formal’. Think colors inspired by the landscape — warm earth tones, deep greens, and sunset hues that reflect the beauty of southern Utah. For attire, formal means suits or jackets for men and ankle or floor-length dresses for women. Early March days are typically warm, but the desert evenings can bring a chill, so we recommend bringing a light jacket or wrap to stay comfortable once the sun sets.

Question

What’s the weather like in March?

Answer

Expect beautiful sunshine, clear skies, and daytime temps around 65–75°F. Nights cool down, so layers are your friend.

Question

Is the ceremony indoors or outdoors?

Answer

We’re planning to say “I do” outdoors surrounded by the red rocks! The reception will be held under the stars, with partially covered and indoor spaces available for guests who prefer a little extra comfort.

Question

What airport should I fly into, and how do I get to the wedding?

Answer

While St. George Regional Airport (SGU) is the closest option (just a 20–25 minute drive from the venue), it has limited flight options and can experience frequent delays and cancellations. Given the potential for travel disruptions, especially if your schedule is tight, we recommend you check out Harry Reid International Airport in LAS Vegas (LAS) instead. It’s about a 2 hour drive to the venue, but it offers more frequent and reliable flight service for more options and opportunity. Aside from rental cars and rideshares, to make the drive from Vegas easier, several shuttle services operate between Las Vegas and St. George. For example, St. George Shuttle offers multiple daily departures, with travel times around 2 hours. You can view their schedule and book tickets here: https://stgshuttle.com/las-vegas-shuttle/ We hope this helps you plan your journey to join us for the celebration!

Question

Where should we stay?

Answer

There are lots of great places to stay in Ivins, Santa Clara, and St. George, from cozy Airbnbs to beautiful resorts. We’ve listed a few of our favorites along with some special deals on the Travel & Accommodations page.

Question

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

Yes, we have a wedding registry! You can find all the details on the Registry page of our website.

Question

How should I RSVP?

Answer

Our RSVP deadline has passed, and responses are now closed. We can’t wait to see you!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there will be parking available onsite at the venue with signs for event parking and gate staff for guidance.

Question

Do I get a plus-one?

Answer

We envision a small and intimate wedding day with those closest to us in attendance. For that reason, guests are limited to those explicitly listed on the invitations received. We appreciate your understanding!
