January 1st, 2016 marked the beginning of our story, though we didn't quite know it yet. We were both invited to be part of a new congregation, and that's where Tennyson first noticed Samantha, gracefully walking in what he fondly describes as a ''Peacock-like'' strut in a princess dress. It was a moment that felt like love at first glance.....until he noticed her ring, and just like that, the moment passed,,,or so it seemed. A Growing Friendship: In 2017, Samantha entered a new season in her life after changing residence and filing for divorce. During this time, our friendship began to blossom. We connected over our shared love for cricket, meaningful spiritual conversations, and a genuine desire to support each other. Tennyson's humor, Samantha's infectious laughter and even the children's playful schemes brought us closer together in ways we didn't yet fully realize. Something More: By 2023 our time together became more frequent and more meaningful. Nathalya and Tennyson formed a beautiful father-daughter bond and she often found ways to bring us into the same space, perhaps seeing what we were still discovering. When we worked near each other for a time, Tennyson's simple gestures, like preparing lunch, earned him the nickname ''Mr. Lunch" at Samantha's workplace and they turned into cherished moments. Family members began to notice and from then on we were rarely apart. Walks around the Larry Gomes Stadium became our time, a space for conversations, laughter and connection. With every step, our bond deepened and our feelings became undeniable. The Beginning of Us: Though we took our time expressing what we felt in our hearts, we already knew. Then one day, everything changed with a simple, gentle moment, a soft kiss on Samantha's forehead.
