How we met.
Robert and Samantha had been on numerous dates through an app called Hinge, but nothing seemed to work. Robert finally gave it to God and asked that someone would come into his life to show him something different. He deleted his dating apps, however he felt the need to keep one app for a little longer. A few days later, he received a message from Samantha and the rest was history. Who knew a dating app could work? But it did for them!

50 years ago, Samantha’s dad and mother had their first date at El Fenix in Downtown Dallas. Not knowing that this first date would be the start of a marriage and a family for them. Robert wanted to create a memory that was near and dear to Samantha’s heart. He invited their immediate family to El Fenix to create another special moment. He planned for the families to meet and wanted to pop the question on this special occasion. To make this more memorable, he created a shadow box with pictures of them and decorated the box to show his affection for her. After ordering their food, he presented her with the shadow box and as she was reminiscing on memories they had shared throughout their relationship, he got down on one knee. He asked Samantha to marry him inside the restaurant and of course, she said Yes! They were able to create their own memory at a place that had once been so special to Samantha’s family. Now this restaurant and memory is special to them and both of their families. Way to go Robert for creating memories of your new journey!

Erin met the bride in college at UNT. They became friends instantly after a short conversation in one of their classes. Shortly after, they started taking all their undergraduate classes together. This is where their friendship grew into a sisterhood. Now, they have continued their sisterhood through reminiscing on memories, taking trips together, and always being there for one another. Their sisterhood continues on to another chapter and there is no one else Samantha would rather have next to her on this special day!

Synty’che has been there for the bride since the beginning of the relationship. She has supported, offered advice, and encouraged the bride to always be her best self. Their friendship has grown closer this last year and Samantha is elated to have Synty’che stand by her side on this special day.

Lauren and Samantha grew up together. Lauren is Samantha's cousin but also one of her closest friends. The two have shared plenty of traveling adventures and made memories along the way. Britney is Samantha’s cousin and they have become very close over the last decade. Britney is not only one of her closest friends, but she is also her competitor when it comes to Monopoly, Catan, or other fun games they play together. Britney does have a sweet side and that is what the bride loves most about her. She is caring and will always make time to listen. Samantha is happy that Britney wants to continue making memories and stand next to her on this special day.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
I would arrive 15-20 minutes prior to make sure to get a good parking spot and can find your seat.

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?
Answer
Yes. The ceremony is located at the church so parking will be no issue. For reception parking, there will be instructions on where to park.

You may bring a wedding gift to the reception. There will be a table setup for any gifts or cards you choose to bring!

Will there be alcohol?

No. Alcohol will not be served at either place. However, there will be dinner and drinks served during the reception. DO NOT bring alcoholic drinks, because they will not be allowed.
