Our Story
Samantha right swiped Nick on June 21st 2024. They had a lot in common, from their love of Bluegrass music to their passion for their faith, and it wasn't long before Nick asked her out on a date. So what does Samantha do? Tries to Google him, as one does before meeting up with a stranger they meet online. But Nick had no social media. Like none. Not even a Linked In. She's convinced that someone so charming and handsome must be fake. One afternoon, Samantha is talking to her old college roommate Chris and says "I'm supposed to go on a date with a guy named Nick Thompson, but I can't find anything about him online. Is that weird?" Chris says, and I quote "Nick Thompson? I went to High School with like three of those. That could be anyone." As it turns out, Chris actually did go to high school with her Nick Thompson. At the end of the conversation, Chris's parting words were "I don't believe in coincidences, I say go on the date." And the rest is history.

This charming historic hotel is located about 30 minutes from the ceremony and reception venues, and 12 minutes from the Holiday Inn Express-Fort Washington. Booking for this location must be done by calling the front desk at (215)-242-5905. We have booked the majority of the rooms in the hotel, so their website may incorrectly display that they have no vacancy. Please be sure to call to check availability. Please let them know you are booking as part of the Stewart-Thompson wedding. Shuttle service from the reception venue to the Chestnut Hill Hotel will be available at the end of the evening. What is the dress code?
Answer
Our dress code is formal. We invite guests to dress to the nines to help us celebrate our marriage! Long dresses or skirts, suits and ties, and dressy separates are preferred. Please do not wear white, or patterns on white bases.
