How we met

We’ve known each other for over a decade, thanks to the fact that he’s the younger brother of my best friend. Total rule-breaker territory, we know. But here’s the thing: for most of those years… we were simply part of the same circle. We grew up, dated other people, lived separate lives, and didn’t think too hard about what “could be.” We were just two people with a long history and a funny connection, nothing more… yet. Then July 4th, 2023 arrived. Somewhere between the fireworks, laughter, and a little twist of fate, we saw each other differently like we were meant to find our way back at just the right time. That night, everything changed. And three years later on that same exact date — we’re getting married. So yes… we fell in love in the most unexpected way: after life gave us a second chance to notice what had been there all along. And now, my best friend gets to call me family...forever.

FAQs

Question

Where is the wedding taking place?

Answer

We will be celebrating our wedding at the home of the bride's grandparents. It has long been a place of gathering, love, and tradition. We are grateful to begin our marriage in such a meaningful place.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We are so excited to celebrate with you! Please note that invitations include a plus one.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Absolutely! If you plan to bring your kids, please let us know in advance. We want to be ready with kid-friendly fun.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Think "Sunday brunch." Relaxed yet refined, breathable fabrics, soft colors, and a polished but comfortable look. Sundresses, skirts, linen pants, dress shirts, and casual suits are all great choices! We recommend shoes suitable for grass and outdoor mingling. No need for black tie just come dressed to enjoy a beautiful day, good company and a little sunshine.

Question

What's on the menu?

Answer

Our menu includes your choice of grilled sirloin steak, fresh Maine lobster, or grilled veggie skewers. Sides will include hot dogs, hamburgers, pasta salad, and all your favorite BBQ staples!

We ask that you RSVP by June 1st, 2026
