Landon and I were lucky enough to meet twice. In spring of 2014 at UW-Stout Landon and I shared the same accounting class. Landon did not attend the first week of class (syllabus week) so when he did start attending, Landon of course took the seat that I already claimed the first days of class. Through the semester we spoke and bonded over how horrible the professor was. Admittedly, I do not remember much of this time, if you ask me, I mainly remember how annoyed I was that my seat was taken by some random guy who didn’t care to show up the first week of class. Landon on the other hand remembers a lot, from the glasses I wore, to what my plans were that summer. This has remained true; Landon is the better listener in the relationship. Fast forward to spring of 2017, Landon and I somehow both made our way to Green Bay, WI. I was working at Buffalo Wild Wings when low and behold that same random guy from Stout was interrupting me by calling my name. Landon had to reintroduce himself and after a while we realized we were friends on Snapchat. We left that night and after a few months decided to exchange numbers through Snap and then found out we already had each other’s numbers from Stout that were added then forgotten. Looking back, we didn’t realize that our first date was even a date. We became friends first which was the start of our happily ever after.
