We’re getting married!

4:00 pm - 11:45 pm

Attire: Wear what makes you happy! It's fall in the mountains, so be prepared for anything. The ceremony will take place outside in an uneven meadow and the reception and dinner will be inside. If you plan to celebrate all night with us, be prepared for a late night disco costume change!

The ceremony will begin at 4pm, but gates to the venue open at 9am. Please come as soon as you’d like to set up and enjoy the space. The reception will be inside the lodge hall at 6pm, and we’ll be dancing till the wee hours.

Accomodation

The Wedding Website of Sage Sauerbrey and Sloan Storey
Pre & Post Wedding: There are plenty of hotels and rentals in the Wood River Valley! Keep in mind, our wedding venue is 19 miles North of Ketchum and 18 miles out of cell service. Just let us know if you need a recommendation! Wedding Day & Night (Sept 6th-7th): https://idaho4hcamp.com/ There is plenty of free camping available at the 4H Camp - including shared bunkhouses with sheeted mattresses (bring a sleeping bag/pillow), parking for campers/RVs, and tent camping spots. If you're nervous about sleeping in the wilderness or sharing bathrooms with other guests simply book a room in town (19 miles from venue). Please keep in mind that dogs are NOT allowed at the venue, but your kiddos certainly are!

Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Sage Sauerbrey and Sloan Storey
We’re lucky to live in a place where it’s impossible to be bored. If you are visiting to share in our love, please share in this wonderful place while you are here and explore our trails, rivers, and towns! Hailey: Draper Preserve- Just behind our house in west Hailey is a beautiful preserve with a walking trail weaving along the Big Wood River. Carbonate Mountain is a more strenuous hike to the north of Draper Preserve, and the best way to get a bird’s eye view of Hailey, the town we call home. From the top you can see Sloan’s restaurant, The Wylde Beet! (Which will be open throughout the week!) Ketchum/Sun Valley: Just pick a direction! There are amazing trails in every direction, we like Lake Creek in the fall. Baldy is our home ski hill and an excellent place to hike, bike, or take the gondola for a ride. The Big Wood has world class fishing, and apparently people like to shop in Ketchum.

FAQs

Question

What do I need to sleep at the venue?

Answer

The venue has plenty of space in its bunkhouses if you are looking to dance the night away with us. We’ll provide sheets for the beds, but make sure to bring your own sleeping bag/comforter, pillow, towel etc. There is a community bathroom with showers on site. There is also space for tent and van camping!

Question

Are dogs welcome?

Answer

We would love to say yes, but to respect our hosts at the 4H camp please leave your furry friends at home.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Ceremony will kick off at 4 and is a short walk from the parking area so please give yourself plenty of time to park, take a stroll, and get comfortable.

Question

Arriving Early?

Answer

Amazing! Gates open at 9am, so feel free to come early to set up, play some horseshoes, & enjoy the lack of cell service. Just make sure to bring your own lunch & snacks for the day!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

It’s the mountains in the fall so be ready for anything! The ceremony will be outside, with the reception and dancing inside.

Question

What is plant based?

Answer

We’re hoping to make our potluck plant-based, which simply means that it does not contain any animal products (meat, fish, eggs, dairy). Thank you for understanding! There are plenty of resources online to find delicious recipes (as well as all the reasons to consider eating more plant-based for you, the planet, and all the animals living in it). Registry

Your presence is truly the best gift we can ask for! However, if your love language is gift giving, we'd love your help in making our honeymoon dreams of sitting by an ocean, putting our feet up, and ignoring our small businesses come true. Here's a link to our Honeymoon fund.
