Elizabeth is the oldest sister of the bride. She is a mom of 2, and Ruth's nieces are the light of her life.

Nicholas Ehlers

Best Man

Nick is the younger brother of the groom. He is a student at UNL studying Engineering. Tim says Nick is like a younger brother, and he couldn't imagine anyone more fit to be his best man.

Nathan Andreasen

Bridesman

Nate is a longtime friend of the bride and groom. He would have happily stood with either the bride or groom's party.

Anna Ehlers

Bridesmaid

Anna is one year younger than the groom and is studying Physical Therapy at UNO. She enjoys exercising and spending time with family and friends.

Olivia Ehlers

Bridesmaid

Olivia Ehlers is the fourth oldest of Tim's siblings. She loves animals and is studying to be a veterinarian at UNL.

Layna Hain

Flower Girl

Layna, age 7, is the oldest niece of the bride. She is taking her role as Flower Girl very seriously. Layna loves school, gymnastics, riding her bike, and grabbing on to Tim's legs to make him drag her around. Layna can't wait for Uncle Tim to officially be part of the family!

Brynn Hain

Flower Girl

Brynn, age 5, is the youngest niece of the bride. She loves crafts, llamas, playing outside, and tackling "Timmy". Brynn is most excited for the food and dancing following the wedding.

FAQs

Question

What is the attire for the wedding and reception?

Answer

Semi-formal attire is preferred. The ceremony is a traditional Catholic service. Attire that is appropriate for a church setting is requested.

Question

Do I need to RSVP?

Answer

Yes. RSVPing is essential to ensure that our venue and caterer are prepared to offer a seamless experience for our guests. Please refer to your invitation for information on whether we have allocated a plus one or space for your children.

Question

Can I take photos or videos during the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony is a traditional Catholic Mass. We ask that our guests keep their devices silent and put away. We have hired a wonderful photographer who will ensure that fantastic memories from the ceremony are captured. We invite you to unplug and enjoy our beautiful and traditional ceremony.

Question

What if I have special dietary requirements?

Answer

Please contact the Maid of Honor prior to the RSVP deadline to alert us to any dietary requirements you may have. While we cannot guarantee that we can fully accommodate all dietary restrictions, we will do our best to ensure you can enjoy the evening. Elizabeth can be reached at 402-641-6590

Question

Is there any "rules" for the ceremony or reception that I should adhere to?

Answer

We ask that you do not receive Communion at the ceremony if you are not Catholic. If this is you, then during Communion you can choose to remain in your seat or hold a finger to your lips. The reception venue, Bottle Rocket Brewery, will be in charge of providing all drinks. Any outside beverage brought in could result in you being kicked out, so it's best to leave the drinks to them.
