Travel

Hotel

MainStay Suites Milwaukee/Franklin

6868 South Ballpark Drive, Franklin, WI 53132

Newer hotel at The Rock Complex, a recently updated entertainment district with Luxe golf bays (think top golf), bar, restaurant, independent league baseball. Close to Whitnall Park. About 30 minutes from the Venue.

Hotel

The Iron Horse Hotel

500 West Florida Street, Milwaukee, WI 53204

Attached to the Harley Museum just south of downtown. Miller Park (it will always be Miller Park), the home of the Brewers is a short trek west on Canal St. Stop at Sobelman's on the way there for a ridiculous bloody mary or just a good burger.

Travel Note

Hotels closer to the venue

If you are looking to stay closer to the venue, you will want to search for Germantown or Sussex. There are hotels in Northwest Milwaukee that are close to or border Menomonee Falls, however this is an industrial area and there can be some sketchy areas near the freeways in Milwaukee proper. If you are set on staying close to the park, make sure you are booking in Waukesha or Washington county.

Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Angela Galvez and Russell Hayden
Some things to do in the Milwaukee/Southeast Wisconsin area!

Mitchell Park Domes Horticulture Conservatory

524 South Layton Boulevard, Milwaukee, WI 53215

Visit a tropical rainforest, with a waterfall; the desert, with an oasis; and a brightly colored floral garden…all at one destination! The Mitchell Park Horticultural Conservatory, better known as The Domes (or the triple nipple!), is Milwaukee's "living landmark."

Harley-Davidson Museum®

400 West Canal Street, Milwaukee, WI 53201

Harley Davidson has called Milwaukee home since 1903!

Seven Bridges

Seven Bridges Trail, South Milwaukee, WI 53172

Nice short hiking trail down to the beach of Lake Michigan, just south of downtown in Grant Park.

Foundation

2718 North Bremen Street, Milwaukee, WI 53212

Milwaukee's premier Tiki bar

Lake Park

2975 North Lake Park Road, Milwaukee, WI 53211

One of Milwaukee County's parks that was designed by Frederick Law Olmstead (same architect who designed Central Park in NYC!) After strolling the park, grab a coffee at Colectivo at the base of the bluffs on Lincoln Memorial Drive.

Holy Hill - Basilica and National Shrine of Mary Help of Christians

1525 Carmel Road, Hubertus, WI 53033

September is early for fall colors, but the hike up to the top of the Basilica provides a great view of the area. And it's close to the venue.
