Just so happened, Jess used to sit next to one of Rudolf's cousins back in elementary school. Even from middle school to university days, she went to the same school as a some of his other cousins! Throughout those years, they never knew they both exist! He even added her on Facebook in 2016, but they never talked to each other back then. Funny thing happened, Rudolf and Jess met for the first time in Bali back in 2017. He was on holiday with his cousins, meanwhile she visited the beautiful island to attend her colleague's wedding. Jess got rostered to Amsterdam many times since they first met. Like, lots! So, in many occasion, he would take her out on her layover and that's how they remained friends for a few years. She wasn't looking for a relationship, so did Rudolf. People called it coincidence, but we called it God's work! 2021 was the year where they spent a lot of morning devotion together, having long discussions about life, and they realized they just fit. Soon after that, the rest becomes history.. It was surely God's perfect timing!
