Lexii and Kyle first met while Lexii was working off of 16th Street Mall at the Tilted Kilt in Denver. They quickly bonded over shared music and wakeboarding, and Lexii scribbled her number to Kyle via his receipt. The next day, fate intervened: Lexii had just lost her phone a few days prior and received a replacement when Kyle called, making him her new phone's very first contact. They had their first date, Friday, October 9th, 2015. Although Lexii had no problem digging into a messy rack of BBQ ribs that evening. Kyle was clearly impressed and called her back for Date #2. After nine wonderful years, full of family time, puppy dogs, boating trips, concerts, and a plethora of BBQ ribs, Kyle proposed at Gramophone Records in Chicago on November 23rd, 2024, && the rest is history.
