Brother of the Bride and Professional Bengal's Fan
Co-founder of Bob Town, King of the PS2 and unaffordable cars aficionado.
Sister of the Groom
Refused to let my first living space have just white walls and no candles. Thanks for being the best interior designer.
Brother of the Groom
Let me live at his house for free for a year. There's no one I'd rather sit at a table until 1 AM and study the CPA with.
Brother-in-Law of the Groom
Fellow golf enthusiast, DIY helper (because I can't do it myself), and food aficionado. Too bad he roots for the Bengals.
Bride's Official 2am Call for Tasks (Allegedly) Unaskable
The whiskey to my coke (except lite because neither of us can drink liquor anymore).
Devil's Advocate but the Day's Officiant
Good friend to both the bride and groom, there's no one better suited to lead us to the "I do's".
Societal Do Gooder but Better Fun Haver - Bride's Rock
The perfect best friend to sit in a hot tub for too many hours solving world problems.
Groomsman and Best Friend
Hamiltonians at heart. Currently pursuing our goals to become retired driving range junkies.
Keeper of the Bride's Chaos & Best Friend
Cool, calm and collected (unless driving), the ying to the bride's yang.
Bride's Sounding Board & Straight Shooter
Catch the bride and this guy on the court 2v2 and it's over. This also applies to managerial accounting.
Sister-in-Law of the Groom
Her father told me I'd never make it as an NBA player, but at least she believed in my dreams (he was right).
Friend of the Groom
No one knows what it means to say "Fly Eagles Fly" like my fellow St. Peter's comrade. My "Day 1" guy.
5:30 pm
Casual Summer Picnic Attire (Yes, shorts are allowed)
Please join us for the legal ceremony hosted by the Bride's parents and Groom's siblings. Dinner to follow. Children are welcome as we look to celebrate as a family.
12:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Attire: Favorite sports team paraphernalia; rep your favorite sports team! The bride and groom are a house divided and will be wearing their team’s jerseys accordingly.
Please join us for a state side celebration for all of those near and dear to us. Even if you cannot make it for the duration of the event, please feel free to pop in and to come and go as you please. Grab a beer (or three) and a slice of pizza. Children are welcome.
Yes! The bride and groom will each be rocking their favorite team.
Yes! If you want to bring your kids, they are more than welcome.
September sees highs of upper 70s and lows of upper 60s, while October sees lower 70s to lower 60s, so pack accordingly.
Yes, you'll be safe in heels. The venue is a pool side villa overlooking the water.
We have contracted a group of villas for everyone. Please see the travel section for more details.
Flight
There are no direct flights to Santorini from the States (go figure), but there is a Santorini airport so your layover (or two) can bring you directly to the island. The bride is a huge fan of Skyscanner from her days abroad and has included the link.
Travel Note
Of the villas offered at the Megalochori Village, we have reserved the 5 x three bedroom and 1 x two bedroom villas for 10/1-10/5 (Wednesday - Sunday). Please reach out to either the bride or groom for reservation information. If you were one of our guests who had communicated to us that you may have to add yourself to the party at a later date, please do not stress at this point. There are still 2 x two bedrooms available (as of May 2024). If you are able to confirm your plans, please let us know and we will do our very best to get you into the villa!
Travel Note
According to Google, Uber does have services in Santorini (say it louder for the people in the back!), but it is a bit different than in the States. There are also many other options when it comes to getting around the island, from private transportation services to taxi's to rental cars, so you can be sure to find whatever option suites you best. See the attached article for various options and recommendations for each.
Rental Car
We did have a friend recommend renting a quad to get around the island (apparently cars, even small ones, can be a headache to maneuver). See the attached article for more information.
