Schedule
The main event is the ceremony on Saturday October 7, 2023 in Arbuckle, CA.
Please arrive at 4 pm, the ceremony will begin at 4:30 pm.
Dinner and dancing to follow.
Other events for the weekend include:
- Friday evening work party and BBQ.
- Sunday morning clean-up crew and brunch.
If you'd like to attend the BBQ or brunch, please send Sierra or Ross an email. We'd love to have your help!
Travel
Please plan to fly into Sacramento. It is about 45 minutes from Arbuckle and a very easy airport to navigate.
We highly recommend staying in Woodland, CA. It is about 15 minutes from the airport and about 30 minutes from Arbuckle.
Arbuckle is small so relying on Uber/Lyft isn't an option... sorry!
Registry
Having you attend our celebration is the best gift of all but if you'd like to give a gift here are some options...
We are planning to take a honemoon trip (location TBD), but because of our teaching schedules, we won't be traveling until summer 2024; but any support to help us get there would be great!
Also, as many of you know we have been doing many home improvements to our little compound and have more planned... if you'd like to help us continue to renovate our property and continue to build our artist residency, Social Studies, that would be excellent.

Things To Do
If you're planning a long weekend in the Arbuckle area, here are some things that you might want to check out:
- Check out the antique shops in downtown Woodland
- Catch a movie at the Varsity Theater in Davis
- Take a drive to Winters and explore Putah Creek and cute cafes
- Head up to Colusa and walk along the levee or bowl a game or two at the Colusa Bowling Alley
- Visit The Verge Center for the Arts or Crocker Art Museum in Sacramento
FAQs
The ceremony and reception will be outside. It could be warm and it will likely cool down when the sun sets. Check the weather ahead of travel.
Yes... kids are invited! We will have some games available but feel free to bring your own.
No pets, please!
