On the banks of the Blackfoot
Our story is one of second chances, hope and joy. Neither of us could’ve imagined what a beautiful love was in store for us. The summer of 2022, we started camping with a group of friends and family. Claire had a crush, and prayed that Ross would be removed from her life if he wasn’t supposed to be part of it. Ross was just fishing and working and enjoying his summer. Then, one beautiful starlit night their friends all went to bed and left them alone with a bottle of whiskey and a campfire. Claire decided to shoot her shot, never the shy one. “Are you going to kiss me or what?” Bear, obliged and on the banks of the Blackfoot River we fell in love.

Fly Fishing + Floating the Mo

For those able and interested we will float the Missouri River from Wolf Creek, MT to Craig, MT. Inflatable floats can be purchased in Helena Wednesday morning. Bring your fly or spinner rod if you can. If you have a mkayak and are driving, think about bringing it along. Raft rentals are also available.

We will place big blankets on Friday at 3pm on the grounds at Carroll College. There is a 5 dollar fee and canned goods necessary to hold blankets down. Symphony concert with fireworks after.
