Just as a reminder, the city of Guadalajara is an Uber friendly city so be sure to use it! While using Uber in the city is the easiest, they are not allowed into the airport taxi queue. They often will have to meet you at a gas station or store next to the airport. You can also prepay for a Taxi right after immigration near where the car rental desks are.
Travel Note
While some businesses in tourist areas may accept credit/debit cards, it’s always a good idea to carry some cash for smaller businesses, markets, or street vendors. ATMs are widely available for withdrawing pesos.

This Gothic church is well-kept. It is in deed a jewel in the center of Guadalajara. It is a must-to see. This architecture brings richness to the city and it is in my opinion a much nicer church than the cathedral due to the color glass.
The town of Tequila, Jalisco, Mexico, is renowned as the birthplace of the iconic spirit, tequila, and is a UNESCO World Heritage site, known for its rich history and culture centered around the production of this agave-based drink. This town produces about 95% of all tequilas produced in Mexico. Stroll through the charming streets of Tequila's historic center, admiring the colonial architecture, visiting the main square (Plaza Principal), and exploring the colorful buildings, restaurants, and shops. Discover the secrets of tequila production by visiting distilleries like Casa Sauza and Jose Cuervo, where you can learn about the agave cultivation, harvesting, and the distillation process.

We invite you to explore some of the region's most iconic dishes—each one a culinary treasure with deep cultural roots. Torta Ahogada – A spicy pork sandwich soaked in chili-tomato sauce, famous in Guadalajara. Messy, spicy, & delicious.
