Dress Code: Black-Tie Optional Men: Dark suits or tuxedos are encouraged. Khakis with a blazer are acceptable. Minimum: collared shirt and tie. No t-shirts, jeans, or sneakers. Women: Midi to floor-length dresses, pantsuits, or dressy skirts. Please avoid the following colors: White, ivory, beige, tan, red, or pastels. This is an outdoor event—we recommend flats or wedges for comfort!
Camping Setup: If you’ve been invited to camp, we ask that you try to set up your tent the day before the wedding. We will be there setting up ourselves, and will tell you where to set up. Ideal setup time is 3-7pm on the 19th. If this doesn’t work for you, please reach out and we will come up with a plan! Please bring your own gear and plan to set up and take down your site independently. We would prefer if there was no tent setups on the day of the wedding—we want the space (and our brains) to stay calm and wedding-ready! The nearest hotels are located in: • Dorset, VT – about 20 minutes away • Glens Falls, NY – about 50 minutes away
We want you to be fully present with us on our wedding day. That’s why we’ve hired an incredible photographer, Kimberly, to capture all the meaningful moments and tiny details—so you don’t have to. We’re inviting you to relax, soak in the joy, and share in the emotion of the day with us—no phones, no cameras, just presence. We kindly ask that all guests keep phones and cameras off and away during the ceremony and refrain from pulling the couple aside for photos throughout the celebration. We promise to share the professional photos afterward! We want to experience the day with you, not away from it!
As much as we'd love to invite all of your children, we are only able to accommodate children involved in the wedding party, as well as immediate family (siblings).
The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 PM. Guests should plan to arrive no later than 3:40 PM to allow time to park, settle in, and find a seat. Dinner and the reception will follow right after. If you’re under 18 or over 70, we kindly ask that you head out by 8:00 PM—that’s when the real NSFW partying kicks off. We say this with love and a wink—consider this your gentle warning. 😉
There will be no bar at this event. We’ll have non-alcoholic beverage stations and a champagne toast, but if you’d like to drink, please bring your own alcohol. We kindly but firmly ask that there is no drinking before or during the ceremony—no exceptions. Anyone who does not respect this request will promptly be asked to leave the property. Thank you for helping us keep this moment meaningful and safe for everyone.
There is not much in the way of cell service at the venue. If you need to check texts, there is satellite available occasionally if your phone is capable. This is a fully remote location, with no running water. There will be multiple portable toilets on premises.
