Travel

The Wedding Website of Roman Pavelko and Yolanda Thai
Catalina Island, reminiscent of Mediterranean gems like Italy’s Amalfi Coast, Capri, or Santorini, boasts rugged cliffs, crystal-clear waters, and Avalon’s charming Spanish-style architecture with terracotta roofs and narrow streets. The primary way to reach the island is by ferry, departing from Long Beach, San Pedro, or Dana Point, arriving in Avalon, the location of our wedding venue. Morning ferries allow ample time before the ceremony, but the last ferry to the mainland departs around 7 PM, so unless you’re not attending the reception and leaving early, book accommodations in Avalon well in advance for a seamless experience. Check the ferry schedule below to choose the best option for you.
