It all started with a swipe. On a freezing March day in 2020, Louna had just relocated to Chicago and was working out of a coffee shop. A few blocks away, Roger had just moved into his new apartment near Jefferson Park. The stars aligned, and when Roger listed his mantra as "Continuous improvement," Louna asked for permission to borrow it. They matched on Hinge, and the rest was history. After our first FaceTime call lasted four nonstop hours, we knew we had found something special. Among other "signs," we realized we were both the 4th child and born on the 11th and 13th of June. Meant. To. Be. Through a shared love for Chicago, traveling, trying new restaurants, and above all—doing things™—we became each other's go-to person, navigating life hand in hand. During a very unprecedented few years in the world, the one thing we were consistently sure about was each other. From walks through Starved Rock State Park to waiting in line for donuts at Donut Vault to binge-watching all the John Wick movies, we feel so lucky that the backdrop of our early days was the greatest city in the world. In our four years of dating, we've moved twice, traveled to 13 US states, and 2 countries, and made countless memories, many alongside our wonderful family and friends (that's you!). Ask us what we love about each other, and you'll get the real deal. Louna will tell you that Roger has this uncanny ability to keep her grounded, making every day feel simultaneously comforting and exciting. Roger, on the other hand, will share that Louna has a special way of turning ordinary moments into incredible adventures. Together, we've discovered that the best adventures are the ones we create with each other, and we feel so grateful for our partnership. Join us this spring as we say "I do" and kick off the next phase of our life together in one of our favorite places. We're SO excited to share this day with those who've been a part of our journey!
