Matthew and I knew each other in high school, but with him being four years older than me we were never really around one another. A few months before I graduated high school, he messaged me and we texted for a few weeks. Then he asked me to go out on a date. We started dating and then I started college in Mobile, Alabama, and we have endured 4 longggg years of long distance. He proposed on October 5th, 2024, on the front porch of my house, the same place he picked me up for our first date. And funny enough, I thought he was just kidding and I told him to get up. That day ended up being one of the best days of our lives. We are so thankful for God's abundant blessings on our relationship and look forward to seeing how He grows it in this next phase of life!
