We are blessed to be surrounded by so much love as we start our journey together as husband and wife. If you're reading this, that means you've played an important role in our lives individually and as a couple. We cannot wait to celebrate with everyone!
Our Story
"Have you been to Ki Mexico? We should go." Nathan's Bumble message rolled across Sarah Kate's screen - he was cute, tall, and athletic (judging from the boat and wakeboarding pics), and she loved tacos. Throwing on a red dress and ankle boots, she headed over to the restaurant to meet this guy. They had such a good time at Ki talking and listening to the band that they kept the date going with a nightcap at Baskin Robbins. Neither of them were expecting much to come from that Bumble match, but over the next 6 months, their friendship and feelings grew until Nathan asked Sarah Kate to be his girlfriend in front of the fireplace at a 2019 NYE party. The next 3 years brought medical school, career changes, and multiple house moves - their love for each other has deepened through it all. On March 17th, 2023, Nathan asked Sarah Kate to marry him on the porch of his godparents' Lake Bistineau camp where they'd made so many wonderful memories. 2024 brings them so many changes - residency match, graduation, more career changes, marriage, and a major move, but they're excited to continue keeping God at the center of their relationship and supporting each other for life. Let's get married!

When should I RSVP by?
Answer
RVSP by Saturday, March 23rd, 2024! If you do not RSVP, we may not be able to reserve a seat for you. Our website is an easy way to RSVP to any of the events assigned under your name. Not tech savvy? Reach out via text/email to let us know if you're able to celebrate with us!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

See our travel tab to book within our hotel block at the Hilton Shreveport Downtown. Our block reservation expires April 19th, 2024, so book before then!

Can I bring a guest?

We love that there are so many people that want to celebrate with us! Due to capacity constraints on the island, we will only have space reserved for the guests listed on your invitation.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
While we love your kids, we have a limited capacity on the island. Unless your child is listed on your invitation/RSVP, please leave your kiddos at home. Think of it as a date night!

What's the dress code?

Cocktail attire. No jeans, please! Our entire wedding will also be outside in May in Louisiana, so dress comfortably for the warm weather.

Hold up, the wedding's on an island? How am I supposed to get out there?

***For our 5:30pm ceremony, please arrive between 4:30-5:15pm.*** Our lovely venue coordinators will let you know where to park your car once you arrive at the marina. You'll then board their spacious barges for a quick scenic ride on Cross Lake to the ceremony and reception space. Trust us, it's worth it!
