Where the wedding is! Colony has continental breakfast, coveside market, heated waterfront pool, poolside bar, putting green, and a small private beach. Unfortunately they cannot reserve or block rooms, so they highly recommend calling to book as soon as possible to ensure you have your choice in room type! Refer to Mourmouras – McCarthy wedding when you call to book! Please be aware the main building does not have AC or TVs but the Coveside building does!

Dock Square
Downtown Kennebunkport, and the main attraction! Wonderful shopping, restaurants, coffee shops, seafood, and views of the Kennebunk River

Absolutely delicious restaurant just outside Kpt. If you love steak, this is the place to be! Also has Luca, a wonderful outdoor patio!
Biddeford Pool
From Biddeford pool—> middle beach—> fortunes rocks is a wonderful stretch of beach for walking (and where we got engaged!) The East Point Sanctuary is a beautiful walk as well with views of Wood Island lighthouse!

Quieter part of KPT! They have a working pier and you can see the local lobsterman :) You can also see Goat Island Lighthouse from the harbor, can kayak, and there are a few small spots for lunch!

Downtown Portland is worth a visit! Fantastic food scene. Check out Portland Lobster Company, J's Oyster, High Rollers Lobster Co, Eventide Oyster! The shop by island creek for oysters! Fore Street, Street and Co, and Scales for a fancier dinner. Porthole for great live music on the water! Walk along the waterfront to check out the wharfs. Some other local favorites: terilingua, via vecchia, boda, empire Chinese kitchen, taco Escobar Bait Shed Restaurant in Pine Point, Scarborough for Mal and Rob’s favorite seafood and the best view :) Portland is also a fantastic place to brewery hop on a rainy day!

Where should I stay?
Answer
The Colony Hotel, The Nonantum, Mabel’s House, and The Breakwater Inn and Spa are right next to each other (check our travel section for other options too listed in order of how close they are to the venue.) There are also many great vacation rentals and Airbnbs in the area. Book wherever you plan to stay as soon as possible, as Kennebunkport is a very popular destination!

Uber and Lyft are few and far between in the Kpt area! If you are not staying within walking distance and need a ride, we recommend using ridemekpt.com to get around the Kpt, Kennebunk, Arundel area. (https://www.ridemekpt.com/request-a-ride)

Your favorite cocktail attire! The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside and the reception will be inside (Maine in September is beautiful but could be slightly chilly!)
