How We Met

From High School Sweethearts to Husband & Wife

We met back in high school — two teenagers who had no idea that a simple connection would turn into love. Over the past 10 years, we've grown up together, shared dreams, supported each other through challenges, and created a bond built on love, laughter, and deep friendship. From hallway conversations to real-world milestones and late-night talks about the future, our love has only grown stronger. And now, we’re beyond excited to take the next step and say “I do” surrounded by the people who’ve supported us from the beginning. We can’t wait to celebrate this new chapter with you on December 13, 2025 — thank you for being part of our story.

Here's what to expect on Saturday, December 13, 2025: Mass: Time: 1:00 PM Location: St Mary Of The Angels Catholic Church 1850 N Hermitage Ave, Chicago, IL 60622 Join us as we finally make it official! Please arrive a little early — we love dramatic entrances, but we’re saving that for the bride! Reception: Time: 5:00 PM Location: Marquez Banquet Hall 3916 173rd St, Hammond, IN 46323 Join us for dinner, drinks, dancing, and lots of love! Doors open at 5:00 PM and the celebration will continue into the night! We’re so excited to celebrate with all the people who’ve laughed with us, cried with us, and supported us through every chapter of our story. Get ready for a day full of love, joy, and probably a few happy tears!

Travel

We are so excited to celebrate our big day with friends and family coming from near and far — especially our amazing Chicago crew making the short trip to Indiana! Our ceremony will be in Chicago, IL, and the reception will be held just across the border in Hammond, IN. It’s about a 35–45 minute drive depending on traffic, so plan ahead and carpool if you'd like! For anyone who prefers not to drive back the same night, we recommend staying at: Tru by Hilton Merrillville 8410 Indiana St, Merrillville, IN 46410 A clean, modern hotel just about 20 minutes from the reception venue. Our Honeymoon Fund

We've decided that experiences matter most - and our dream honeymoon to Dreams Royal Beach in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic is officially booked! Rather than a traditional registry, we're kindly asking for contributions toward our trip - whether it helps with excursions, a romantic dinner on the beach, or simply a pina colada (or two) by the pool. What’s the dress code?

Answer

We’re going for formal / semi-formal attire. Think suits, ties, dresses, or anything that makes you feel fancy and fabulous. Our color scheme is black & white, so feel free to coordinate — but please leave the all-white outfits to the bride! (We promise she’s earned it after 10 years!)

Can I bring a plus one?

If your invitation mentions a "plus one" then yes! If you're unsure, feel free to text us — we promise we won’t be awkward about it.

What should I do between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

There’s a few hours between the ceremony and reception, so feel free to grab a snack, relax, or head to your hotel. Check our Travel section for hotel info if you need a place to recharge.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you keep phones and cameras tucked away during the ceremony so our photographer can capture the moment — and so you can enjoy it fully with us. Snap away at the reception though!

What if I have dietary restrictions?

What happens after 10 at night?

Answer

Let’s just say… the elegant part of the evening officially ends, and the unfiltered dance floor begins. Shoes off, drink in hand, Bad Bunny on full blast — you’ve been warned.
