Our Ceremony
We first met in 2005, fresh out of high school, and became instant friends, but life took us on separate paths while we pursued our goals. Last year we reconnected at a wedding and realized that the friendship and feelings were still there. Heather agreed to a coffee date and now, one year and three months later, we're getting married!
We are having a small, intimate gathering with just our immediate family members. There will be a total of 20 people, including ourselves. We are grateful to have so many friends, near and far, that love and support us- who have chaperoned us, given us their time, given us good advice, and encouraged us along the way. Thank you for being a part of our story!
There will be no live streaming of the ceremony as we will provide a link to a professional recording of our special day. Stay tuned, we'll be linking the video to this website! We hope you enjoy watching the special moments with us when we share the recording!
We'll be getting married in a beautiful conservatory in the Catskills of upstate New York, surrounded by nature and our family.
We're keeping things simple with a small, private dinner with family only.
We're planning a relaxing getaway at an all-inclusive resort in Mexico, but not until later, probably around March. Until then we will be getting used to married life at home.
This goes back 19 years. We first met in 2005, fresh out of high school, and became instant friends, but life took us on separate paths while we pursued our goals. Last year we reconnected at a wedding and realized that the friendship and feelings were still there. Heather agreed to a coffee date and now, one year and three months later, we're getting married!
We often went for walks near Heather's apartment in Shelton, CT at Shelton Lakes. On those walks we had many meaningful conversations. It felt right for Rob to propose there, making it an intimate moment, just the two of us.
Your well-wishes and support mean the world to us. We aren't asking for gifts, but we put together a registry on Zola for those who have asked.
