6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Attire: Dressy Casual- wear what you would on date night!
Please join us for a Friday evening welcome party at Chloe, a casual French restaurant created by Chef Vincent Francoual. We'll be serving up drinks and French bites to kick off our wedding weekend festivities and thank you all for traveling to the Twin Cities! The restaurant is located just down the street from the Renaissance Hotel, so walk over once you've settled in!
4:30 pm - 11:00 pm
Attire: Formal - suits and ankle or floor length dresses / jumpsuits
Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30- please plan to arrive with a few minutes to spare to get seated. An evening of celebrating to follow
10:00 am - 1:00 pm
Attire: Hungover Casual - wear whatever gets you here!
Elsie's is not a fancy spot, but it's one of our most favorite places in the Twin Cities. Come by for brunch, bowling, and a mimosa for your hangover.
Flight
A note about getting an Uber or Lyft at MSP: it can be a little confusing to find the pick-up area when you arrive in the main terminal of MSP (terminal 1). Head towards the baggage claim and then follow the signs for "app-based ride services". You'll go down an escalator to get to the baggage claim, walk straight for about a minute, and then up two consecutive escalators which will put you right at the pick-up area. Your app will ask you if you want to be picked up at "Zone A" or "Zone B"- it doesn't matter which one you pick. They are right next to each other in the same area.
Hotel
The Renaissance is located in the heart of Downtown Minneapolis' Mill District, steps from the Mississippi River and Stone Arch Bridge. Here, you are right in the center of our wedding weekend events! We have a limited number of rooms reserved for our guests at a discounted rate. These rooms are available until April 10th, so please book early! In addition to Friday and Saturday night, we have also reserved a few rooms on Sunday night for those of you who want to spend the day with us on Sunday and depart on Monday (info on Sunday brunch and bowling above!). To book discounted rooms you must access the hotel website through the 'view' button below:
Milwaukee Road is located right at the Renaissance Minneapolis Hotel and is a warm, easygoing stop for American comfort staples, local beer, and specialty cocktails
The Market at Malcolm Yards is a food hall housed in the historic Harris Machinery Building. Pick from seven different food stalls (we love the empanadas!) and grab a drink at the serve-yourself tap wall or cocktail bar. Tons of room for big groups to sit inside or outside and less than ten minutes from our venue
Lake Monster is attached to PAIKKA, our wedding venue. A great spot to grab drinks and then just walk over to the ceremony!
All invited guests are listed on the invitation and visible in the RSVP portal
Yes! Both Uber and Lyft are available in the Twin Cities
Hopefully both! The average high for May in Minnesota is 69°F (21°C) and the average low is 47°F (8°C). Our venue has a mixture of indoor and outdoor spaces. There will be plenty of room inside in case of rain
We will have a ton of passed appetizers to start and wood fire pizzas and salad from local farm-to-table pizza spot Northern Fires for dinner. Come hungry!
Absolutely! If you live locally or plan to rent a car here is what to expect: Welcome Party- $4 parking in the Stadium Parking Ramp directly across the street from Chloe. Bring your ticket with you for the discount sticker. There’s also ample street parking around the building at 50cents an hour. Wedding - there is a large parking lot at our venue (but we wouldn't recommend leaving cars overnight as the lot is not secure). Brunch and Bowling at Elsie's - large parking lot and free street parking for overflow
