6:00 pm
Please arrive in Miami a day early, on January 16, 2027. It is important that you arrive a day early just in case your flight is delayed and so you won't miss the ship.
11:00 am - 3:30 pm
Wear something comfortable. It'll feel like another airport day in the morning.
You will be able to have a check bag and a carry-on (no extra cost.) Once you arrive at port you can give your checked bag to a porter, make sure you tip $3-$5 a bag. There will be a luggage tag that you print out and attach to your checked bag at the cruise port, so your bag will meet you outside your cabin door. In your carry-on bag make sure you have: - passport/ birth certificate and an ID -boarding pass and documents that you will print out 2 weeks before embarkation -medications -your room will not be ready until about 1 pm, so if you'd like to swim during the sail away party, pack your swimsuit in your carry-on. *Theres a video in the gallery showing what embarkation will look like. *Take a look at carnivals website for items that are not allowed.
7:00 am - 4:00 pm
Beach wear, water shoes, snorkel gear, SUNSCREEN, sunglasses
Please make sure you bring your sign and sail card AND your ID off the ship. you will need it in order to get back on board. Also DO NOT be late getting back on board, the ship will leave you behind. I tell myself to be back on board 1 hour before all aboard time.
11:00 am - 4:00 pm
Semi formal black-tie
There is a chance the cruise line will move the wedding to the last sea day, depending on how big the guest list ends up being closer to sailing. We will have our ceremony on the ship followed by an hour and a half reception. There will be food, an open bar, and a DJ. After our reception we will move the party to the lido deck! They usually host parties on the lido deck. There should be a White party or an 80s rock and glow party.
9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Good walking shoes.
If you book an excursion, I highly recommend booking through the carnival website. It can be more expensive but if your excursion runs late, they will communicate with the ship and they will wait for you. If you book 3rd party, the ship won't know where you are at and won't care. They will leave you behind.
8:00 am - 4:00 pm
Last fun day at port! Same as before, make sure you are back on the ship before all aboard time! Have fun and be safe!
12:00 am - 12:00 am
Relax and enjoy the ship! Back to reality tomorrow! *Reminder! Wedding may be moved to this day, depending on guest count!*
6:00 am - 9:30 am
Comfy clothes, back to the airport.
A rule of thumb is to not book a flight back home before 12pm. You'll have to go through customs to get off the ship and it's hard to tell how long that'll take. *There is a video posted in the Gallery showing what debarkation day will look like.

NO! Please fly into Miami the day before, on January 16th. This ensures that you will not miss the ship if your flight is delayed. We will all stay at a hotel in Miami the day before embarkation day. We will have a meeting on what the next day will look like and then we can start the fun!
Every member of your cabin will receive a sign and sail card. this will act as your room key, and your way of payment on board. No place on board will accept cash or card. When you check-in to the cruise you will attach a method of payment to your sign and sail card. I highly recommend that you use a credit card or cash. They will place holds on your card which can make it difficult with a debit card. You can put a limit on your child's sign and sail so that they don't go crazy at the candy shop or arcade.
2 weeks before sailing you will be able to check-in for your cruise by logging into your carnival account. This is when you can add allergies, method of payment for sign and sail, answer important questions, and print out boarding documents and luggage tags.
Your boarding pass is your ticket to the cruise. You will NOT get on board without it. I recommend that you make a travel folder/binder to hold all your important documents. Along with your passport/birth certificate and ID. DO NOT put this folder in your checked bag, keep it on your person. Your luggage tags you will print at check-in. keep them in your travel folder until embarkation day. Then you will attach them to your checked bags. I recommend ordering luggage tags on amazon to keep them more secure than just a staple. Once we arrive at port you can give your checked bag to the porter for just a tip and your bag will meet you at your room. Again, DO NOT put your travel folder in this bag.
A boarding pass is a piece of paper that you print out during your check-in process (2 weeks before sailing) that tells people at cruise customs that you purchased a ticket for the ship. A sign and sail card will act as your room key, means to getting on and off the ship, and way of paying for things onboard. If you buy something at the gift shop, photos, food at the sea food shack etc. you will swipe your sign and sail and then you will get a bill at the end of the cruise to settle up. if you attach a credit card to your sign and sail it'll automatically be charged. If you are loading your sign and sail with cash and exceed what you loaded your sign and sail, then you will have to pay the remainder at the end.
