3:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Formal to semi formal. Look your best! But don’t start far from YOU.
We are so excited to share this special day with you!
Bride
Katie is the bride, and anyone who knows her knows she brings love, laughter, and personality wherever she goes. She’s caring, sarcastic, stubborn in the best way, and deeply devoted to the people she loves. She can guilt trip Charlie into just about anything, and her famous phrase “I’m fine” has become an immediate warning sign. Charlie wouldn’t trade life with her for anything.
Groom
Charlie is the groom and the calm to Katie’s chaos… most of the time. He’s hardworking, funny, endlessly sarcastic, and always ready with either a joke or a random fact no one asked for. Whether he’s working on cars, planning D&D campaigns, or making Katie laugh, he makes life more fun every single day.
Officiant
Popsi is Charlie’s grandpa, lifelong storyteller, and officially the person everyone will be nervously handing a microphone to on wedding day, which feels both meaningful and slightly dangerous. He and Charlie’s grandma, Mimi (Judy), have shared 58 years of marriage together, setting an incredible example of love, commitment, patience, and humor. Honestly, after successfully putting up with Popsi for nearly six decades, Mimi deserves some recognition too. With Popsi’s unforgettable personality and ability to make everyone laugh, there’s truly no one better to officiate this wedding… hopefully.
Honored Uncle
Adam, along with Katie’s aunt, Char, has been an important part of Katie’s life for many years. After losing her father at a young age, Adam became more than an uncle — he became a supportive and caring presence she could always look up to, while Char was always there with love and support alongside him. Having Adam walk her down the aisle is one of the most meaningful parts of the day for Katie.
Mother of the Bride
Melisa, yes — just like Gilmore Girls — is the mother of the bride. Growing up, it was often just the two of them figuring life out together, which created a bond and understanding that only they could share. Through all of life’s ups and downs, Katie has always carried pieces of her mom with her, and she’s grateful to have her here for such an important day.
Father of the Bride
Ernest “Jerry” John Rivera was Katie’s father. Although Katie lost him when she was only five years old, she knows how deeply he loved his family and how hard he tried to keep everyone together for Katie and her sisters, Aryanna and Nova. Over the years, she’s heard countless stories about his humor and the joy he brought to the people around him. While she doesn’t remember much herself, his love and presence have always remained part of her story.
Mother of the Groom
Dawn is the mother of the groom, professional problem solver, and unofficial manager of everyone’s lives. She’s sarcastic, hardworking, fiercely loyal, and never afraid to tell people what they need to hear. Charlie inherited plenty from her — especially the sarcasm and stubbornness — and honestly, everyone else just has to deal with it.
Father of the Groom
Eric is the father of the groom, and Charlie has looked like his mini clone since day one. Somewhere along the way, Katie and Eric realized they were basically the same person, bonding over sign language, cooking, gym routines, and teaming up against Charlie and Dawn whenever possible.
Maid of Honor
Chey and Katie have been best friends since freshman year of high school, which means Chey has seen every phase, every bad decision, every inside joke, and every dramatic story along the way. Through it all, she’s been one of Katie’s biggest supporters and favorite people.
Best Man
Charlie met Ashton in 6th grade at Outdoor Lab, and somehow Ashton has put up with him ever since. From school days to working together at Costco and spending way too many hours planning D&D campaigns, their friendship has been built on chaos, laughter, and great memories.
Bridesmaid
Andi is Charlie’s sister and one of the sweetest people in their lives. Katie has learned sign language to communicate with her, and through the years the two have built a close relationship that means so much to both of them.
Groomsman
Ben is Charlie’s younger brother and one of the most driven people you’ll ever meet. When he’s not managing a sales team or talking about his next big plan, he’s usually making everyone laugh. Growing up together gave the two of them plenty of memories, stories, and sibling chaos over the years.
Bridesmaid
Being cousins was just the beginning for Kaileena and Katie — growing up together made them best friends for life. Between childhood memories, inside jokes, and years of always being there for each other, their bond means everything to Katie.
Groomsman
After meeting through Katie, Charlie and Colin bonded quickly over D&D, cars, and spending time together. Collin’s humor, confidence, and outgoing personality have made him a great friend and an important part of their lives.
Bridesmaid
Avery is the kind of friend who always shows up, always cares deeply, and always has something to say. Her energy, loyalty, and ability to turn any moment into a conversation are just a few of the reasons Katie loves her so much.
Groomsman
Charlie met Gabe while they worked together at Nissan, and somewhere along the way they bonded over D&D, gaming, and fully embracing their inner nerds. Between campaigns, laughs, and endless conversations, their friendship has survived both work shifts and chaotic dice rolls.
Bridesmaid
Noelle, better known as Magnolia, met Katie in high school through the automotive program, and their friendship took off from there. From working on cars to sharing laughs and life stories, Magnolia has been a loyal and unforgettable friend through the years.
Groomsman
Charlie met Josh at Brakes Plus, where somewhere between work shifts and nonstop jokes, a great friendship was formed. After recently surviving wedding duties together with Charlie as one of Josh’s groomsmen, Josh now gets to return the favor.
Bridesmaid
Emily came into Katie’s life through Josh, but it didn’t take long for the two to become great friends. In fact, Emily was one of the very first people Katie asked to be a bridesmaid, even before the engagement. After celebrating Emily and Josh’s wedding in Tennessee and making memories together in Nashville, Katie couldn’t imagine this day without her.
We recommend arriving 20–30 minutes before the ceremony begins so everyone has time to get seated and settled 😊
Formal to semi-formal attire is requested. We’d love for everyone to dress up, feel confident, and stay true to their own style while celebrating with us ✨ Bridesmaids will be wearing sage green and the groomsmen will be in navy suits with sage ties, so we kindly ask guests to avoid matching the wedding party colors too closely 💚💙
Due to limited space, only guests formally listed on your invitation are included. Thank you for understanding 🤍
We love your little ones, but our wedding will be an adults-only celebration unless otherwise noted on your invitation 🥂
The ceremony and reception will be held outdoors, so please plan accordingly ☀️🌿
Yes, but parking is limited. We definitely recommend carpooling, Uber, or Lyft to make things easier (and safer after celebrating 😉) 🚘 More details will be shared closer to the wedding date.
We kindly ask guests to stay present and unplugged during the ceremony while our photographer captures the moment 📸🤍 Don’t worry — there will be plenty of opportunities afterward for photos, videos, and memories together 😊
Absolutely — come hungry and ready to celebrate! 🍴🥂
Definitely 🍹 There will be an open bar with plenty of alcoholic and non-alcoholic options to help everyone celebrate responsibly… or at least try to 😅
Don’t worry — by the end of the night, everyone will probably be dancing together anyway 💃🕺
That deserves a DUH! 💃🪩 We fully expect questionable dance moves from several people 😂
Show up, have fun, dance a little, and help us make great memories together 🥹🤍
You’ll probably hear the full story at the wedding, but their relationship started young and grew into a lifelong friendship and love story ❤️
Long enough that most people already assumed they were married 😂
We’ve always dreamed of visiting Japan together 🇯🇵 Whether it happens right after the wedding or years from now when the timing is right, we can’t wait to experience that adventure together as husband and wife ✨
Probably both of them 🥹 Although Charlie may have been first after waiting on one knee for what felt like forever while Katie took her time coming out to the deck 😂
Technically Katie… during a late-night phone call with a level of confidence only teenage bad decisions can provide 🍻😂
Katie 💄 Charlie just needs five minutes and a hat 🧢
Almost guaranteed 😭 He inherited more from his mom than just the sarcasm 😂
She already has 😅
No 😭 Dawn tried, but according to the nerds, she “rolled a nat 1.” Whatever that means 🎲
Absolutely not 😂 Unfortunately, no one knows how to stop him 🎤
