Serendipity is located in the beautiful hills of Oak Glen - emphasis on hills. The grounds have everything from wood, grass, stone, wood chips, and cement within the space from parking, to ceremony, to reception. We want you to be aware of this when choosing shoes so you’ll be comfortable throughout the evening.

Are the ceremony and reception in the same space?

Answer

Yes! There is a small walk down a wooden trail to the ceremony space and a small walk up a slight incline to the reception space, but everything is on the property.

Is there a shuttle for elderly or handicapped guests?

Answer

Yes! Serendipity is supplying golf carts and drivers to shuttle any guests who need transportation from parking to ceremony and ceremony to reception. Let us know if you’d like to utilize so we can let the venue know to expect you!

What’s parking like?

Answer

Serendipity has a full parking lot on property that will accommodate all of our guests. As the lot fills, cars are directed further down the lot and you may have a bit of an incline to walk to the entrance of the venue.

Dinner is flame grilled seasoned chicken breast paired with white wine sautèed mushrooms, flame grilled tie-tip steak seasoned with salt and pepper topped with a red-wine demi-glace (each plate has BOTH proteins) Fresh, seasonal sautèed vegetables Skin on red mashed potatoes with cream, butter, salt, and pepper *A Vegetarian option is available so please let us know ahead of time if you would like this option.

Where’s your registry?

Answer

We’re blessed to have everything we need in the home. We do however, have our son’s hospital bill, our wedding costs, bills, and need a new car. If you would like to bless us with a gift, we humbly request cash, check, or digital donations to lessen the financial burdens in our lives. We will have a card box at the reception or you can follow the link to our cash fund here on the website.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Our ceremony is outside. 4:00 pm in Oak Glen during November could possibly be anywhere from 50° - 75°. We suggest being prepared for either. The reception is indoors and will be much more predictably comfortable.

Is alcohol going to be served?

Answer

Yes! We will have an open bar until it’s gone! Serendipity reserves the right to deny any guests who appear visibly intoxicated. We want everyone to have fun, but get home safely.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We politely request that NO children be present at our wedding. Serendipity is enforcing this request so you can come and enjoy a date night away.
