Question

When does the ceremony start?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30pm. If you are not seated by this time, you will not be able to take part in the ceremony. We ask that guests arrive to the venue around 5pm so that everyone can be seated on time.

What is the timeline of events?

The Ceremony- 5:30pm Dinner/Reception - 6:30pm to 9:30pm After Party at Hotel - 10pm to Midnight

Where should I park?

Answer

There is a large parking lot on-site of the venue. The parking lot is right next to the ceremony and reception location, so there is not a lot of walking required. HOWEVER, THERE IS NO OVERNIGHT PARKING AT THIS VENUE.

Is the ceremony and reception indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony is scheduled to take place at the venue's outdoor vineyard space. Dinner and the reception will be indoors with outdoor patio access. Weather permitting.

No Outside Alcohol is Allowed!

Answer

Our venue has a strict policy of no outside alcohol. Guests are only allowed to consume alcohol provided by the bar at the venue. We will have an open bar serving beer and wine during dinner and dancing, so please refrain from bringing anything into the venue space. If you are caught with outside alcohol, you may be asked to leave the event.

Is there a cocktail hour?

Answer

We will not be having a formal cocktail hour. There will be about a 30 minute transition from the ceremony to dinner. During that time, the bar will be open. Guests can grab a drink and hangout on the patio or in the reception hall.

Are there blocks of rooms reserved at a nearby hotel?

Answer

Yes! We have rooms reserved at the Hampton Inn and Suites Shelby, NC. The hotel is about 10 minutes from the venue. Will there be a shuttle or transportation provided?

Answer

We will not have a shuttle from the Hampton Inn and Suites. Please plan accordingly on getting to the venue, which is about 10 minutes from the hotel.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Let's get dressed up! Formal attire is recommended.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one or children?

Answer

Due to our unique venue size, we are only able to accommodate those who are listed on your RSVP. When you RSVP, you will see the names of those whom we have reserved a seat for. You will not be able to add additional guests. This is an adult only event. Thank you for making other accommodations for your children, we appreciate the extra time and effort this takes.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes! To kick off the weekend, please join us for a drink at the Newgrass Brewing Co. at 4pm (October 12th) located at 213 S Lafayette St, Shelby, NC. All are welcome & drinks will be purchased at your own expense.
