We're getting married!

February 2019 marked the beginning of our love story amidst the energetic buzz of Yelp's sales floor in the heart of downtown San Francisco where fate brought us together. Julia, a bright-eyed recent graduate from UC Berkeley, was taking her first steps into the professional world, while Riley, a UCLA alum and seasoned Sales Manager, had already established his own rhythm in the city. Julia's infectious enthusiasm and killer cold calling skills caught Riley's eye, sparking an undeniable connection. Although our chemistry was palpable, our initial chapter was one of colleagues and friends. It wasn't until Julia transitioned to a new role at Google that our relationship blossomed into something more profound. A simple text to meet up for drinks in March 2020 (the week before the lockdown!) rekindled the spark we had felt at Yelp, and the rest, as they say, is history. Our shared love for adventure, both near and far, fuel our bond. Whether traveling the world, exploring culinary treasures and trendy restaurants in our city, or taking long walks together throughout San Francisco's neighborhoods, we find joy in every shared experience. On August 10, 2023, Riley orchestrated a romantic proposal on the beach in Santa Barbara, a place that holds a special significance in our hearts as the destination of our first Valentine's Day together. Against the backdrop of the Pacific Ocean, Riley asked Julia to be his forever, and she, without hesitation, said "Yes!" Now residing in Nob Hill where we'll soon say "I do," we eagerly anticipate celebrating our love with our family and friends. Our journey has now come full circle, and we are thrilled to share our special day with the people who have witnessed our love blossom in the city where it all started!
