How We Met
When Rikki was little, her Tía Fina drove her to a folklórico class and asked if she’d like to dance. She said yes. When David was 18, he was on a run and saw a T-Mobile store. He decided to apply and got the job. Both decisions led them to meet a friend through folklórico and work, Julissa, who would eventually introduce them. In the summer of 2016, Rikki reached out to see if David was available to meet in real life. Hungry? No, he had already had dinner after a long day of work. How about some ice cream? Surely, he couldn’t turn down dessert. The rest is history.
