Save The Date

From Sticky Notes to Lost and Found - Our Love Story!

Our love story started like many great romances: at work specifically LOL, with a series of sticky notes that appeared daily in our lockers. Our first date was at a charmingly divey, hole-in-the-wall Mexican restaurant. She still jokes that I was trying to hide her from the world, but really, I was just hiding her from our coworkers :) Fast forward two years, and our engagement story takes an even funnier turn. We were on a cruise, docked in Costa Maya Mexico, and she thought I was simply changing into my swimsuit. Little did she know, I was on a covert mission to find the perfect engagement ring! I slipped away to a jewelry store. Apparently, I took a bit too long, because she started to panic. We were in a foreign country, after all, and she truly thought I'd gotten lost. The funniest part? She even enlisted a new cruise friend to broadcast my name over the loudspeaker like I was a lost child: "Rico! Courtney is looking for you! We are at the DJ booth!" I, of course, was blissfully unaware, preoccupied with buying the ring that would change our lives. I never told her where I'd been until a year later when I finally proposed in Barbados! She still can't believe I pulled it off.
