Question
What should I wear?
Answer
This is an outside wedding event, happening on the brink of end of summer and beginning of fall. The weather should be nice, but maybe prepare just in case it is a bit chilly. We do not plan on having a super formal setting on our day, but please feel free to dress up as much as you want. Consider the dress code to be between an elevated casual to cocktail attire, just be comfortable! Don’t forget we will be dancing outside and into the night😊 (please no outfits that would resemble a wedding dress, we want the bride to be unmistakable today) {EXAMPLE: Men: nice jeans with no holes, khakis, dress pants, button up, blazer, polo/golf attire Women: nice bottoms, blouses, jumpsuits, summery dresses-no white please! }

Will food be served?
Answer
Food will be served buffet style, you can choose what you would like to eat! A couple good friends of Shay and Ricky’s will be catering the wedding- Smoke N’ Oak BBQ, courtesy of Adam and Jaci Cumpiano. Grilled chicken and tri tip will be available for your choosing, along with common barbecue or party sides such as: veggies, pasta salad, and potato salad. Please let either the bride or groom know of any allergies! Ingredient lists will be available for viewing near dishes.

Will alcohol be served?
Answer
There will be a limited open bar at this wedding. Two cocktail style drinks and a keg will be available from our drink server, Kirstie. Sodas, water bottles, and juices will also be offered. Shay and Ricky will not be held responsible for any guests who choose to drink alcohol. Please make accommodations to get home or to your hotel safely if you plan on drinking! Alcoholic drinks will only be offered until the stock runs out, or until 9pm-whichever comes first! PLEASE DRINK RESPONSIBLY!

Are children allowed?
Answer
Children known to the bride and groom are welcome, but there will not be any childcare at the wedding. If Ricky and Shay have invited you and your child and you plan on bringing them to celebrate, please keep an eye on them! We love all of the support from our friends and family, but will not be held responsible to care for anyone but ourselves tonight! If you are thinking of bringing a child that is not explicitly included in either your invitation or discussed with Shay or Ricky, please reach out and make sure we have a seat for them! We have calculated numbers based on who we anticipated in your group when inviting you!

Can I bring a Plus 1?
Answer
Please do not bring anyone that has not been discussed with Shay or Ricky! We would love to have everyone here to celebrate with us, but we have calculated food, drinks, and seats based off of our invitations and RSVP’s. If you did not get either a verbal or written invitation for your plus 1, please ask one of us for confirmation! We would hate to have a guest with no seat, and we would like to know exactly who will be showing up for our special day with no surprises!

What kind of music will be played?

I’m so glad you asked! We will be playing all sorts of music after the ceremony. We want everyone to have a great time celebrating with us. Are animals allowed?
Answer
Animals are not allowed on this property as requested and enforced by the owners. If this is a problem, please reach out so we may come up with a solution together!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
The ceremony will be starting promptly at 4:30pm. Please allow yourself travel time, parking and getting situated then you are planning your morning before the wedding! If you show up late, you may be asked to wait patiently at the dining area, as to avoid interruption of the ceremony!

Are you registered? Where?
Answer
We have a registry listed here on Zola, and a link to an Amazon registry. Please do not feel obligated to contribute, but we have added some unique gift ideas that we’d love if you did want to gift something! We already have everything we need in our home until we buy a house in the future, so these items are upgrade items and things we can do together, as well as a honeymoon fund. We appreciate any and all gifts or monetary gifts, but we request your PRESENCE most of all! Thank you for thinking of gifting us something to start our MARRIED life together!❤️ love you all
