We met at a home-school Christian prom practice in May 2022. The dance instructors had you choose a partner you would rehearse with. I approached Faith and invited her to dance with me. She happily said yes. We had a shy, sweet conversation, but it was so meaningful. I knew I needed to learn more about this beautiful girl. We spent all of the prom dancing and talking with each other, and it was so delightful. I would have never expected the future to bring me here, but I am thankful it did. We have experienced ups, downs, and so many happy little moments. I love her and can't wait to see where life takes us.

We went down to our favorite spot along the Farmington River and started taking pictures. While my back was turned, I thought he was taking pictures, but Rick was down on one knee when I turned around and asked me to marry him. I said yes!
