How We Met

From sandwiches to soulmates.

In Summer of 2016, we were drawn together to Isaac's--the sandwich restaurant with menu items named after birds. Just 1 employee number apart, we hit it off immediately eventually graduating from work friends to constant texters by Spring. After a nervous first date over Pad Thai, we started a ball rolling that could never be stopped. Finishing each others sentences, breaking out into song at the same time, even "t-posing" in sync in public (iykyk), we meshed perfectly. Eight years later our favorite thing to do is waste time with each other: talking, gaming, hiking, rotting, drawing, dancing, and most importantly--laughing together the whole time.

FAQs

Question

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour are under cover. You will walk outside to the reception, which is indoors with a patio.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We are requesting "dressy casual" attire, no jeans please, but ties are optional. Please wear neutral fall colors.

Question

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

Unless stated otherwise on your invitation, we are not allowing additional plus-ones to our wedding.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your kiddos, but we are asking guests to not bring their children unless otherwise stated on the invitation.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is an upper lot and lower lot for the wedding: the upper lot is larger and is located up a flight of stairs from the ceremony space, while the lower lot is reserved for handicap parking and dropoffs.

Question

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

We are kindly asking for our ceremony to be "unplugged," please silence your phones and refrain from taking photos and videos during the ceremony. After that, take as many photos as you'd like--we'd love to see our big day from your point of view!
