Love Thy Neighbor

Sea la vie

Love Thy Neighbor Matthew 22:37-39 Dre and I met on a hot summer night, July 15, 2022. It had been a long day for me: I had just landed in from Florida at 3 AM, worked from 8 AM to 2 PM, then worked a second job from 3 PM to 10 PM. After catching the bus, I finally arrived home around 11 PM, exhausted, walking across the parking lot. Dre was sitting on the patio with another neighbor and noticed me walking by. Now, I was tired, but I had just gotten my hair braided, so I was feeling cute, but honestly, I wasn’t in the mood for any conversation. Dre looked up and asked, “Are you my neighbor?” At 11 PM, walking alone toward my door, I saw three guys on the patio. I instantly thought, “Lord, please protect me,” hoping they wouldn’t speak to me. I didn’t want to be bothered and definitely didn’t want to love my neighbor in that moment. I responded to Dre in a rude tone, saying, “I’m YOUR neighbor,” and started to walk inside without acknowledging him. But then, God spoke to me. He reminded me of His commandment: Love Thy Neighbor. You see, I’m a God-fearing woman, and I know when I need to listen to His voice. I paused, humbled my heart, and walked back to Dre, saying, “Yes, I’m your neighbor.” Dre smiled and introduced himself with kindness. In that moment, I saw God at work, and I realized He had something beautiful in store for us. Since that day, Dre and I have been inseparable. You never know what God has planned for you. Stay humble and obedient to God's will. God Never Fails Deuteronomy 31:8 “It is the LORD who goes before you; He will be with you. He will not fail you or abandon you. Do not fear or be dismayed.”

Wedding

9:00 am

Maryland Cruise Terminal
2001 East McComas Street, Baltimore, MD 21230

For a formal casual boat wedding, the attire should strike a balance between elegance and comfort, keeping the nautical setting in mind. Here are some suggestions:

   •   For Women:       •   A cocktail dress or a chic sundress       •   A flowy, midi-length dress       •   Light, breathable fabrics like chiffon, linen, or silk       •   Dressy sandals or wedges (preferably with a low heel for comfort)    •   For Men:       •   A linen suit or a blazer with dress trousers       •   A dress shirt with or without a tie (depending on the level of formality)       •   Loafers or smart boat shoes
