Join us as we kick off the celebrations with a welcome event on a beautiful rooftop in the heart of Guanajuato, where we’ll soak in the sunset with drinks and light bites. As night falls, we’ll continue the festivities with a traditional “callejoneada”, wandering the charming streets of Guanajuato for an unforgettable start to the weekend! Drinks and hors d’oeuvres will be provided. Callejoneada: 9:00 PM – 10:00 PM Afterwards, feel free to continue the evening as you wish or rest up for the big day. Ladies: we recommend stylish yet comfortable shoes, as Guanajuato’s charming cobblestone streets can be tricky during the callejoneada.

The dress codes are: - Rehearsal/icebreaker is fashion-forward, cocktail attire. - For the wedding, black tie is required: tuxedos for men and evening gowns for women. - For the Tornaboda, the dress code is casual.

If your invitation specifically includes 'Guest' or 'Plus One', you're welcome to bring a date. We’re striving to keep our celebration small and intimate, so please don’t hesitate to reach out directly if you have any questions or need clarification.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?
Answer
Transportation will be provided on October 4th, the day of the wedding, to and from the venue where the ceremony and reception will take place. Shuttles will depart from at least two designated meeting points and return trips will be available at multiple times throughout the evening. More details will be provided on a later date!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
Yes, there is parking available, but it is limited and primarily reserved for staff. We strongly recommend using the transportation we are providing, as it will make getting to and from the venue much easier. Plus, we want to ensure everyone can enjoy the celebration safely—no drinking and driving!

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?
Answer
The celebrations begin on Friday, October 3rd, with a pre-wedding gathering from 6 PM to 10 PM to kick off the festivities. The wedding day will be on Saturday, October 4th, starting at 4 PM, with celebrations continuing until we can’t dance anymore! For those staying an extra day or leaving later, we’re planning a relaxed tornaboda on Sunday, featuring hangover remedies and delicious food to wrap up the weekend in style. More details TBA.

The best way to arrive in Guanajuato is through El Bajío International Airport (BJX), located just 30 minutes away from the city. This airport offers direct flights from major hubs such as Dallas and Mexico City. Once you land, you’ll find several transportation options to take you directly to Guanajuato's historic center. ** Try to book ASAP, hotels are booking fast for that weekend** The first 6 hotel options are situated in El Centro at heart of Guanajuato where the Welcome Cocktail (Rompehielo) will take place. The last two options are more budget-friendly and closer to the wedding venue for the Ceremony and Reception. There's plenty of other options in El Centro in case you'd like to stay somewhere else. Regardless of where you stay, shuttle transportation will be provided to and from the venue on the wedding day, with stops at both hotel locations!
