How did we meet?
Our love story began in high school on October 31, 2018. We met briefly that day, exchanging a few words before the school bell rang and we had to rush to class. Ricardo, ever the gentleman, walked me to my classroom. From that moment, our connection grew quickly, and we became best friends in no time. Not long after, Ricardo asked me on a date, letting me choose the location. To his surprise—and delight—I picked Waffle House, his favorite spot at the time! Life eventually led us on separate paths, but love found a way to bring us back together. Since then, we’ve been inseparable. Now, as we look toward the future, we’re determined to grow old together, cherishing every moment of this journey we’re on.
How he popped the question!
Ricardo’s family invited me on a trip to Key West, Florida—a trip that turned out to be one of the many adventures filled with laughter, memories, and love. The morning of the big day started with me and Enrique, Ricardo’s brother, attending a local Zumba class. We had such a great time dancing and laughing. Afterward, we stopped by a Cuban coffee shop. Let’s just say it wasn’t the best coffee experience, but it made for a fun and memorable story! Once we returned to the apartment, we spent time enjoying the pool before getting ready for what I thought were “family pictures.” We coordinated our outfits and headed out, excited for a fun photoshoot. As soon as we arrived at the local beach and I stepped out of the car, my heart skipped a beat. Right there, in big, beautiful letters, were the words “Marry Me.” In that moment, everything clicked—I knew what was about to happen!

Seating opens at 4:30! we ask all guest to arrive no later than 4:50pm. If you are late, you will be kindly asked by our team to not enter the ceremony space. Please wait until after ceremony ends. ¡Los asientos abren a las 4:30! Pedimos a todos los invitados que lleguen a más tardar a las 4:50 p.m. Si llega después de esa hora, nuestro equipo le pedirá amablemente que no ingrese al espacio de la ceremonia. Although we love children, we are having a children free night! Unless spoken to us with certain circumstances, we want our parents to enjoy their time on a night out! You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "Not attending" so we can plan accordingly. Thank you! ¡Te extrañaremos! Yes, as the sun will be shinning (hopefully) ceremony will be outside. Please make sure to dress appropriately and keep hydrated throughout the day.
