Sam and I attended different institutions in Edo State, but our paths first crossed when I visited my sister’s school in 2015. He was my sister’s course mate and they were quite close. As my sister’s friend, we had couple of conversations during camp meetings organized by Scripture Union and Scripture Union Campus Fellowship, which we all attended. Upon our graduation, we relocated to different states and rarely communicated. Then one day, after struggling with it for a while, he finally decided to confess his love for one Jesus girl, which is me of course. It was after a couple of months, precisely 24th July 2023 that I agreed to be his girl after making shakara. Our love journey has been an expedition into great discoveries, vision and growth under the atmosphere of love. On my birthday, 24th August 2024, Sam organized an in-house party where he asked me to marry him. On that day, I said an unforgettable “Yes” to Sam, God’s reward to me.
